PAS Sarawak Minta Fakta Sejarah Kemerdekaan Dikaji Semula

PAS Sarawak Demand The Historian corrected the Facts of Independence History

PAS Sarawak want to give some views and comments on the history before independence. Before the date of 31 August 1957 Malaya was still under British colonial rule so anyone who works with the British during that era must comply with the direction of British colonial rule, whether they
like it or not because they have been entrusted to carry out the duties and obedient British government at the time. So the question now whether those who defend the British government at the time can be
regarded as a hero defending the homeland or the defense of the British colonial government? Are they able to get any remuneration or appreciation after the British government leave Malaya?

We ask those who served with the British government think very carefully why they are willing fought tooth and nail to defend British colonial rule, even arrest and kill the independence fighters as well
as communists.

Again we emphasize that what Mat Sabu mean not supporting the communist cause, but safeguard the independence fighters who was then label as terrorist or rebels. So what about the fate of Rosli Dhoby, whether he is also considered a traitor for killing the

British governor's of Sarawak? Are spies or the police who were arresting Rosli Dhoby be regarded as a hero?

Rosli Dhoby is a fighter for Sarawak independence from British colonial. He descended Melanau. His found guilty of stabbing to death a second British Governor of Sarawak, Sir Duncan Stewart with a
poisoned knife in Sibu on December 3 1949.Faktor for which he was forced to admit the charge is at the request of his mother because his mother was threatened to be shot.

Think wisely for yourself who is ruthless during that time? We also heard that the BN government grant clemency to the communists who want to surrender and give some privileges if they leave their struggles. There are possibility and not impossible if they now within their government, even if they do not take up arms, but their ideology still alive in their hearts.

We ask the historians to correct the mistakes of history that has been influenced by the historical elements of colonial liberation in which the independence fighters considered as traitors and those who work with the colonial government was regarded as a hero.

PAS also ask the historians do their jobs with honesty and trust so that people know the history of real and accurate with no affected by the elements of racial politics and so on.

PAS had not bless any communist struggle and ask for the BN leaders to stop accuse and do not distort the obvious meaning of Mat Sabu statement that allegedly PAS support communism.

Timbalan Pesuruhjaya PAS Sarawak
